bhspoonRemember when playing with your food was rude? Well now, not only is it cool to play with your food, but now it’s educational! With Baby Human Inc.’s Play and Learn Baby Spoon, babies can develop their hand-eye coordination and learn how to feed themselves while they play with the soft, flexible spoon. 

I was sent a set of the Play and Learn Spoons ( a set includes one orange and one green spoon), and was able to give it to a friend to check out. Her little one really liked it! He played with it, chewed on it, and once she showed him how to dip it in the food, he really thought it was a treat! It actually took him a very short time to realize that if he dipped it in the food and got it to his mouth that he could eat his applesauce. Yummy! Of course, don’t expect there to not be a huge mess!!! It takes a long time to eat without things being spilled everywhere. Shucks, my girls are almost 4, and they still spill something every meal without fail! It’s such a cool idea, and it really makes learning to feed themselves fun for the kids!

Some key points: Their products comply with the CPSIA ruling. They are BPA, phthalate and lead free! They are flexible and durable!

  1. its ok to give as a toy before feeding and the dual side is meant so they get the grip in the center..this is very nice

  4. LOVE this spoon – actually almost bought this weekend and then saw your giveaway post! My baby is teething so always trying to grab the spoon but gags -this is something i can let her use b/c according to the video, the little barriers will prevent her from getting it far enough in her mouth to gag – PERFECT!
