I do believe that Lil’ Rinser is every parent’s answer to their children’s bathing issues! I know that you know what I mean when I say that my girls FIGHT when it’s time to wash their hair… “No Mommy! It’s in my ears!” “NOOoooo Mommy! My face!” I’m sure there have been plenty of other arguments, too many for me to really remember right now.
I was online checking out different ideas, and came across the Lil’ Rinser, and just thought that I had to try it. I emailed the Lil’ Rinser team, and asked them if we could, and luckily, they said Yes! When it arrived, my girls were very excited to try it out.Â
It’s made from very flexible plastic and rubber. You can just tell it’s made to be as comfortable for the little ones as possible. They’re also very colorful, and intriguing for the kids! It almost looks like a measuring scoop, with a toilet bowl center… Ok, weird description, I know, but it’s really functional.
As I had expected, the minute I mentioned washing their hair, the girls started protesting… and then I brought in the Lil’ Rinser. They were very interested to try it so here we go. I put the Lil’ Rinser to Victoria’s forehead, and dumped water on her hair with my rinsing cup. It worked! She sat still! Water did not run down her face or into her ears. She was a happy camper! On to Alexandra. She seemed a little skeptical at first, but once her sister told her that it was ok, she let me try it. The smile that went across her face when I rinsed her hair was priceless. The only complaint I have, and this is really tiny, was that I had a hard time moving their hair around while rinsing. I usually rub their hair while pouring water to make sure I get all of the soap out, and this was a little difficult, but I figured it out.
The next time they had their hair washed, we tried it in the shower. This time I let them hold the Lil’ Rinser themselves while I rinsed their hair. I set the shower for a stronger stream, and it was perfect! Now, we can’t wash their hair without this Lil’ Rinser!
Their site calls the Lil’ Rinser your “Rinse and Run Technology, Your Shampooing Solution.” and it truly is! I really think this thing has saved my sanity! Less fighting with the girls = less splashes on me!Â

The yellow and blue one is my choice.
My favorite color Lil’ Rinser is blue. This is really a clever idea!
Love the blue/purple one. The boys scream when its time to wash their hair “Not my hair!” “Not my hair” as they will attempted to climb out of the bathtub.

What a good idea! I always use a cup to rinse my granddaughter’s hair but it doesn’t always work. I like the blue and yellow.
I like the yellow with blue accent. Thanks for the giveaway!
With three kids under three bathtime can be rough. I’ve had to start putting my feet in the tub and cradling a head on the top of one foot to wash hair. But then we’re both wet and that poses it’s own problems. Whew!
