Camping. That word brings back some memories from my childhood. Fumbling with putting poles together one at a time, matching colored stickers, and getting the whole family to set up the four corners at the same time so that it doesn’t fall down before you have a chance to get the other corner set up. Oh and taking down a tent, making sure we have all of the poles in the bag. What happens if we forgot one section? I cringe when I think about it…

Of course, that was years ago, and tents have changed… for the better.

Ozark Trail has a new “Instant” dome tent, that has taken the cringing out of camping for me.

Walmart gave me a tent to try out, and my dear hubby so graciously offered to “model” the set up of this tent.

It was easy to put up all by himself. My daughter just stood back and took all of the pictures for us.

The 4 person tent seem to comfortably fit 1 queen airbed, or 2-3 sleeping bags, but you can also fit up to 4 campers in sleeping bags on the floor. Includes adjustable ground vent to keep the tent cool and comfortable. The only thing my hubby said was missing was a rain fly, and those are important, especially out here in coastal NC where rain storms show up out of nowhere sometimes.

Taking down the tent is just as easy. Each pole has a quick release button that you need to press. That will release the telescoping portion of the pole, and allow you to then fold the pole back up and close up the tent for storage.
