Mother's Day Jewelry Gifts

I know you’ve all seen the commercials for those jewelry stores where the kid takes in a handful of change to get Mom a gift, and the store clerk looks up at dad and he flashes his credit card…. Cute, but you don’t need a credit card to get Mom some really cute jewelry, and something that she can keep forever…

There’s always the fun hand print, or finger print items, or flowers made from cupcake liners, but this idea seemed so perfect for this year’s post. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s extremely affordable!

The big deal right now in jewelry, is the big beaded bracelets. These things can be quite expensive at the big name jewelry shops, but I found a way to give mom something special for a fraction of the cost!

Walmart carries the Mix & Mingle beads and jewelry makings in their craft section. You can find necklaces, earrings, bracelets and even watches, all along with the big beads and charms! You’ll even find special occasion charms, like the ones pictured below, that you can add to any jewelry item to customize it!

Want to commemorate any special occasions that have happened recently? Check out the themed packs of beads! They are so cute!

Check it out!

Here is a ready to bead watch ($10) that I put together with some of the glass and crystal beads.

My girls also put together a leather corded necklace with some beads and a larger center charm.

Get a selection for Mom and/or Grandma, and get a selection for you! at $4 for a pack of beads, you can get a whole bunch to match any outfit!

Have fun with this, and let me know what you make! I’d love to see pics!
