Summer is here, and goodness knows, I need to find things to keep my girls busy! They get bored very easily, and one thing I do not want, is for them to sit in front of the TV, or on their tablets all day during the Summer. Sure, I’ve signed them up for a couple of week long Summer Day Camps, but, those can get quite expensive.
Michael’s Stores have a really neat program for kids ages 5 and up, called the Passport to Imagination.
From June 16 to Aug. 1, Michaels stores nationwide will host Passport to Imagination classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Each 2-hour session is just $2. Talk about totally affordable!
This year Michaels has partnered with 7 of North America’s best museums to create a museum road trip. Each day, kids will experience culture through crafts with projects inspired by world-class museum exhibits. Participants can register for classes online or at their local Michaels store.
My girls absolutely love art, and I can’t wait to get them into some of these classes. The ones that I know they are going to go crazy over are the ones based on the Fashion Institute of Technology. They’re also going to the classes based on the Denver Art Museum, so I can’t wait to see what they create!
Sound interesting?? Spaces are limited at each Michael’s Location, so sign up before you miss out!
Here’s how!
Visit Classes.Michaels.com, scroll down and click on Kids Programs (you may be asked to enter your zip code and select the Michaels store that you’ll visit for the class).
You’ll be directed to a list of the kids events at your local Michaels. You can click on the Calendar button to view listings by day.
Click on the Passport To Imagination session you wish to attend, then click the red “Book your class now” button.
Sign in to your Michaels.com account, or complete the new user registration form.
On the class attendee page, click the box indicating that the attendee is someone other than yourself and enter information for the class participant(s). Then click the red “Continue to checkout” button.
Follow the prompts to checkout. Please note that online registration for Passport To Imagination is unable to accept Michaels gift cards at this time.
