How often do you hear that a company will back not only their product, but also the item that their product is being used in? Anyone? Not many will.. but check this out…
I’ve been working with Rayovac as part of their Power Blogger program for a while now, and over the last several sessions, I’ve learned a lot about the company, and it makes me even more excited to be a loyal customer. This time, I learned more about their Rayovac Guarantee. This guarantee is not like any other that I’ve ever heard of.
According to the Rayovac Website which outlines their Warranty and Guarantee,
“We will replace, repair or refund, at our option any device (that uses Rayovac’s AA, AAA, C, D & 9V, cylindrical, button cell or coin cell batteries collectively the “Batteries.” “Batteries” do not cover lithium ion batteries.) damaged by our Batteries if the device and Batteries are returned to us, prepaid, to the address below. Be sure to remove the Batteries from the device, but include the Batteries in the same shipment as the device. Our guarantee does not cover devices that are damaged by Batteries that are beyond their expiration dates.”
What other company has a Guarantee like this? I haven’t found one! Seriously, warranties/guarantees like this are hard to come by. I have had so many issues with other companies ranging from phones to refrigerators, when it comes to their warranty. Just the other day, a shelf broke in my barely a couple of years old refrigerator. I called the company, and of course, it is out of warranty. They wanted nearly $50 for a new shelf.. a plastic shelf. I remembered buying the extended warranty that is supposed to kick in after the manufacturer’s warranty ends, so I called that company, only to find out that my issue was not covered. So, I had to buy a new shelf. A $50 shelf. I was so frustrated.
Now, I’ve never experienced Rayovac’s Warranty/Guarantee first hand, only because I’ve never had to worry about it! Knowing that this is what it’s all about though… Makes it so much easier to keep on using their products.
