Summer time is the perfect time for entertaining. As long as it’s not pouring down rain outside, we typically have the grill going, lemonade flowing, and laughter filling the house. Of course, we love it when we can enjoy the outdoors as much as the air conditioning.

We are still furnishing our home inside and out. We’ve lived here for 3 years, but it’s been slow going to get some of the more fun things that we want. But we’ve also been picky. This time, we aren’t looking for the cheapest way out, but we certainly aren’t looking for the most expensive options either! Honestly, I’ve looked so many places, and I just can’t find something that we like, that fits our budget.

And then I was shown the Better Homes & Gardens & Mainstays lines of outdoor living products on my last trip to Arkansas to see what is new and hot for the Summer. My absolute favorite, and the one I want to buy someday is the BH&G Azalea Ridge line of outdoor furniture, but some of the other sets that we were shown were absolutely gorgeous, and totally affordable!

I really liked the Mainstays Double Chaise lounger (On rollback now for $223.50). It seems like one of those super comfortable spots to relax with a book! It wouldn’t fit in my screened in porch, but it would make a nice relaxing spot in my yard, especially with a nice umbrella to provide some shade!

If you’re looking for a classy dining set, that isn’t going to break the bank, the Better Homes & Gardens Clayton Court Collection is a nice set at only $278 (on rollback right now).

I loved how they dressed up a simple table with Better Homes & Gardens dishes and a simple plate of bright yellow lemons!

If you already have a patio set, but you’re want a different look for it, check out all of the cute styles of cushions available at Walmart from Better Homes & Gardens! We have a couple in mind that might work for our current set, until we can get the Azalea Ridge set that we really want!

Totally off the subject of furniture, but definitely in the realm of out door entertaining… I took my girls with me to Walmart to grab some things for a get together we were having and what Summer party would be complete without sno-cones? We grabbed a Rival brand shaved ice maker, and some Hawaiian Ice Syrup flavors and that was totally the best dessert idea of the Summer! I had to add that little tidbit in to this post! It’s a great time to buy!
