This September marks Straight Talk’s third year for its drive to donate up to $1 million to the Make-A-Wish foundation. This year, they are very excited about their ‘Give a Minute, Help Make-A-Wish’ program and you can help them reach their goal.
If you’re in the market for a new mobile device, or even if you aren’t, head over to a participating Walmart store on any Saturday from 10am – 4pm during the month of September. For every person who attends a Straight Talk in-store demo, they will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish! It only takes a minute of your time, and you can help make a huge impact on someone’s life.
I had some grocery shopping to do this weekend, so I went to my local Walmart store on Saturday. I made sure to stop by the Wireless Center to check out the Straight Talk phones and took just a moment to go through the demo. I had to pick up some things on both sides of the store, so it was not out of the way. It really only took a minute, it was very easy, and I left there knowing that I contributed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, if even just a little bit. Need to find a participating Walmart store? Use the Store Locator!
Don’t have time to get to a Walmart store on a Saturday? Don’t worry! You can still help from the comfort of your own home! Seriously, you can even do it in your pajamas! All you have to do is visit StraightTalkWish.com before September 30th, and share wish story videos through your personal social media channels. Straight Talk Wireless will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish for each wish story shared from the site for the Give a Minute, Help Make-A-Wish campaign towards their up to $1 million goal. Watch the videos, and have tissues ready. There are some very inspiring stories on that site. I absolutely loved Carl’s wish to be a WWII Pilot. I won’t give away the entire story, but I will say that I loved how the Marines and Navy SEALs came together and made his wish extra special. Watch it (and share it) to see the whole story!
You can make a difference!
