When the new release of Annie came out, I wasn’t sure what to think about it. I loved Annie when I was little, so a sort of a remake was a little scary to me. My girls asked me if we could go see it on one of their days off from school, and I couldn’t say no. I just hoped it would be as good as the original. I was pleasantly surprised.
The new Annie is AWESOME! I found myself singing along with the old songs that I new, and really liking the new songs that are on this soundtrack as well! My girls have even fallen in love with “Opportunity”, and have it on their iPods.
When I was offered the chance to do a family movie night with the new DVD/Blu-Ray release of Annie, I couldn’t say no. My girls were very excited when it showed up on our doorstep too! We had to watch it that evening!
The rest of the evening was spent singing along with the movie all over again… I’m really glad that I can enjoy this movie all over again with my girls. They even wanted to include their thoughts about the movie here, so here is a quick mention from them!

Hi, I am Alexandra. I have recently watched the movie Annie. I enjoyed the movie a lot! My favorite part was when Annie got her dog Sandy. Sandy is really cute, and we found out, she’s a Chow- Golden Retriever mix. I also liked the part when Annie got all of her friends phones. I’ve seen the original Annie movie before, and it was really good, but this version I really liked a lot! I hope you like this movie too!

The movie, Annie was great! It was super funny and great for kids! It was very entertaining for me! My favorite part was when Annie got to stay with Mr. Stacks and she got Sandy, her dog. I loved how they changed up some of the things from the original Annie movie. It made it more like for our age of kids. I loved this movie, and your kids might too!
