The Pero story begins over 100 years ago when Sicilian immigrant, Peter “Papa” Pero started a modest farm in Western New York. Papa Pero would hand pick the best crops on his farm and bring them home in a box for his family to enjoy in their homemade meals. We received a box to check out, and were happy with the portion sizes. We used the Green Beans that evening with dinner, and went through the rest of the produce over the week. Everything was fresh and shelf life in the refrigerator was decent over the week. We only had a little bit of the Peppers get soft, but not bad towards the end, just like anything I’d get at the local store.
Typically, I head to my local Walmart, or even the local farm at least once a week to pick up some fresh produce for our meals. This would make things so convenient, just having it delivered is perfect!
