There’s a football game on, right now, as I type this post. We love watching football, but we love football with friends even more. What do you do for football games? Do you have get togethers or do you watch it just with your family? Either way, I have some really easy recipes that you can make for a couple people or for a large group… They make great sweet treats that aren’t bad for you, and you can get everything you need at your local Walmart store! Read on for the contest information!
First: Football Pumpkin Spice Muffing (Low Fat)
Ingredients:
- 1 Box Pumpkin Spice Cake Mix
- 1 can (15oz) Pure Pumpkin
- 1 cup water
- 1 pouch White Cookie Icing
- 1 bag Dark Chocolate Chips (if desired)
- 1 package muffin cups
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Mix together the Cake Mix, Pumpkin and water until smooth.
- Fill each muffin cup about ¾ full.
- Bake cupcakes for 15-20 mins
- Allow to cool
- Pipe football design onto the cupcakes.
- Plate and serve.
1 box makes 24 cupcakes
Second: Chocolate Covered Apple Footballs
Ingredients:
- Apples of your choosing
- Chocolate Melt & Mold from Wilton
- White Chocolate Melt & Mold from Wilton
Directions:
- Melt chocolate according to directions on package, and pour into a small crockpot to keep it warm.
- Cut refrigerated apples using a corer/slicer.
- Place apple slice on a skewer and dip into melted chocolate, and place on a cookie sheet covered with freezer paper.
- Place cookie sheet into the refrigerator for about 10 minutes, or until chocolate has hardened.
- Melt a few pieces of the white chocolate in a small microwave safe bowl.
- Remove cookie sheet from refrigerator and use small end of skewer to draw on the football laces.
- Replace the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes, or until ready to serve.
