I went to Walmart the other day looking for some random crafting ideas for the girls, and came across the Crayola 3D sidewalk chalk. I had seen the commercials on tv, and was very skeptical. I didn’t think it would be nearly as “cool” and 3D as the creative computer ad designer people make it look. I was wrong. 

We were stuck at home waiting for a refrigerator repair man to arrive, and I figured it would be a good time to take the girls out in the back yard to try this 3D chalk. As I unpackaged the chalk and glasses, they started jumping up and down with excitement. We drew a couple of things in the shade where we typically draw, and we weren’t getting much 3D action. I took a couple of pieces of chalk, and drew in the sunny part of the patio and tried looking through the glasses. WOW! My drawing literally looked like it was floating above the concrete. The girls looked at everything through the glasses and they had fun chasing each other while trying to step on the various scribbles and drawings on the ground. I’d say it was a good purchase!
