BlogHer Thank You's…

Last weekend, I attended BlogHer 2010 in NYC… and it was a BLAST! I had a great time meeting bloggers, seeing old friends, and networking with brands I’ve worked with in the past, and some I hope to be able to work with in the future!  I didn’t get the chance to attend much of the conference, but the events I did attend were awesome!

This post is dedicated to all of the folks who made my excellent weekend possible!

First and foremost, I want to thank Walmart! I am one of the Walmart Moms, and Walmart sponsored my trip to BlogHer 2010, covering my BlogHer ticket, Hotel, and Transportation. I wouldn’t have been able to attend without them! I had a great time seeing everyone and hanging out in the Walmart booth in the expo hall! It was fun sharing all of our #FreshIdeas with all of the bloggers that stopped by! I’m very lucky to be a part of this awesome group.

Second I would like to thank Old Navy for sponsoring my clothing for BlogHer 2010! Since starting my TaeKwonDo classes in April, I’ve lost 4 sizes (from a 22-16), and Old Navy was awesome enough to help me show off my new (smaller) size! Check out some of the cute threads! LOL

This halter crochet dress was an awesome find! I was so excited to get to wear this one out and about. I wore this on the Today Show for the TODAYMoms event,  to the Style n’ Smile with Jennie Garth, and to the Hanes Comfort Event with special guest Michael Moloney from Extreme Makeover- Home Edition.Michael was so awesome to get to meet and talk to! We had a blast playing games on how to keep our clothing drawers organized LOL. I got so many compliments on this dress, and I felt awesome wearing it!

I’m on the left in this photo alongside my friends Melissa and Kim. We were out to dinner with Collective Bias, enjoying some fun, food, and friendship…. and a whole lotta laughs. The top I’m wearing in this photo is the Raw-Edged Drape Front Top, and I LOVE it! It’s light, and fits amazingly. The loser bottom part hides the tummy I still have to work on.. This shirt has actually become my favorite this Summer!

Last but not least, because I wanted to show off the Old Navy Logo Gear, I wore the classic Old Navy Logo Tee on my day out on the town with fellow Walmart Mom, Lynnae. We ran around to the Apple Flagship store on 5th Ave *sigh*, FAO Schwarz, American Girl, and eventually made it to the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center! Here’s a photo of me sporting my Old Navy Logo Tee with New York City and the Empire State Building as the perfect backdrop!

I had a couple of other tops and dresses from Old Navy that I didn’t get a chance to wear. I had less time to change for events than I had thought I would… I loved all of my clothes, and I can’t thank Old Navy enough for covering my wardrobe.. Check out OldNavy.com or your local store for awesome deals on some super cute clothes!

One more group I want to thank is Collective Bias. I love working with them on their campaigns and projects.  They had a diner for us two nights that I was there, and they were awesome. Thanks to Collective Bias, I was able to meet up with even more of my friends, and some of the great folks at Colgate!

I also want to thank Lifetime’s The Balancing Act for the chance to be interviewed, Skechers for giving me a pair of Shape-ups and the fun walk/exercise session that really woke me up, Getting Gorgeous (and all sponsors involved) for some awesome tips & hair tools, Robeez & Stride Rite for some cute gifts for a friend of mine, Sweets in the City, for an awesome event, and Unilever .. which I’m voting most relaxing event of the weekend. Thank you!!! I so needed the massages!

To everyone else who had anything to do with BlogHer… Thank you! You make blogging so much more fun!

PS. Stay tuned for some great photos and videos! I’ll get them posted just as soon as I get caught up!

PSS. I think I did a pretty good job disclosing my sponsorships in the post. If you have any questions, let me know!
