Fall is here again, and it always reminds me of our trips up to Apple Hill while we were living in California. We’d get to check out all the different orchards, wineries, and bakeries.. YUM! I miss it so much sometimes. We are huge apple fans in this family, and will try just about anything that is made from apples. The last time we went into our local Walmart Supercenter, we saw signs all over that looked like the image on the left here… and that means it’s time to celebrate APPLEFEST!!!
What is Apple Fest? AppleFest is the perfect chance to try all of the awesome and yummy treats made from Apples. During the month of October, customers will find savings on apples, and apple products along with recipes! Select Walmart Supercenters will have samples for shoppers to check out various apples and apple products Oct 2, 4, 10 & 11. They’ll even feature produce from local growers in stores nationwide!
Apple Fest offers more than just nutrition and good taste. Among the products offering real savings to shoppers are:
- Fresh apple varieties including Honeycrisp, Gold Delicious, Fuji, Jonagold and Cortland from $1 to $1.98 per pound**
