Eggland's Best Supports Susan G Komen!

Did you know that the American Cancer Society estimates that in the United States in 2010:

* About 207,090 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women.

* About 54,010 new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) will be diagnosed (CIS is non-     invasive and is the earliest form of breast cancer).

* About 39,840 women will die from breast cancer

Neither did I…..

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so you’ll be seeing pink just about everywhere you look… even on your EGGS! That’s right! I did say eggs!

I’m going to be participating in the Eggland’s Best Pink Dozen, a group of bloggers helping spread the word about Eggland’s Best Eggs, and their commitment to raising awareness for Breast Cancer Research!

Eggland’s Best recently donated $50,000 to Susan G Komen and is totally going pink this Fall! For the first time ever, Eggland’s Best is going to display Komen for the Cure’s running ribbon logo along with a pink version of their “EB” stamp on their eggs! For the next two months, you’ll see a few posts here and there just helping to bring awareness to Eggland’s Best’s efforts towards Breast Cancer Research!  Meanwhile, keep an eye out in your local stores for their eggs with the pink EB Stamps!
