I used to be so crafty. I take that back. I’m still pretty crafty, it’s just finding the time to sit down and make a craft that is the hard part. This year, I went and bought a few decorations… but once I had them up, I realized that I wish I had just a bit more. I decided to make these cool glowing eyeballs that would give just the right touch. I’m putting them in my windowsills. I’ve wrapped a few boxes in black fabric, and I’m placing those randomly in the windows to set the eyeballs on. Hopefully in the dark, it will give the illusion that they’re floating in the window. I’ll have to take some night time pics, but I wanted to get this up now, in case anyone wanted to try it themselves before Halloween! The best part is that they can be used for years to come rather than just a one time use! What’s great is that if you’re like me, you can make a few a year, and collect them. After a couple of years, you’ll have a pretty spooky collection! It’s also fun to see what the kids come up with every year! Talk about saving money! Hope you like them!

Those are so adorable! I bet you could also wrap the white base of the flameless candle with black electrical tape to make it even more “invisible” at night 🙂
Ooh good thinking Jenn! I didn’t even think of that! guess I’m off to Walmart again tomorrow! LOL

Oh my goodness – I want to make these! Love the idea and such a great item to do with kids of all ages. Thanks for the idea. I may be heading out tomorrow to get some supplies. We could also make enough eyeballs to do an eyeballs Menorah for Chanukah.
That was a really good idea!…thanx for the tip:)
