As a busy mom of two little ones, I knew how important snacks were for them.. especially back when they were in strollers!!! My little girls loved their Goldfish, or Cheerios… I had all but forgotten about this product until I was cleaning out the pantry. I’m talking about the Snack Trap! It’s an amazing little gadget!Â
When my girls were in strollers, I took them out all the time. It was easy to take them to the mall, or to the grocery store, but they almost always wanted a snack five minutes after we arrived… I had thought about putting snacks in sandwich baggies, but there was no way to keep them closed once they opened them, and they’d usually spill half of what was in it. I kept thinking that there had to be a better solution.Â
On one of my trips to a local store, I looked around their feeding section and came across the Snack Traps. After some research on the internet, I figured I’d try them. I found them again at Leaps and Bounds, and they were very reasonably priced. I was a little skeptical looking at the soft plastic lids, not sure if they’d really hold food in or not, but it was worth a try! Of course the girls saw them and wanted to try them out right away. As soon as the package arrived, we washed them out and put some of their favorite snacks in them. Sure enough, they snack traps did a great job at keeping the contents inside the cup! They dropped their cups, and shook their cups. Hardly anything came out. It was awesome. Another thing that I liked about the cups was the style of handles on them. They were on both sides of the cup, so the girls could hold on with either or both hands, and they were fairly thin, which was perfect for their tiny hands!
The girls are too old for them now, but I still check out the cool stuff at the store every now and then. I noticed that Leaps and Bounds now carries a Snack Trap Super Pack that includes 1 Snack-Trap, 1 Stay Fresh Lid, and a tether that anchors the cup to the stroller so they can’t lose the cup! Also available is an accessory pack that has an extra snack trap lid, a sippy cup lid, and a stay fresh travel lid! Too cool! I wished they had more of those accessories when the girls were smaller. I almost certainly would’ve used them constantly.Â
I highly recommend the Snack Traps! Check them out! Give them a try! I’m sure you’ll like them as much as I did!Â
You can get yours at Leaps and Bounds for only $4.95 each.. or save and buy 2 for $4.45 each!
All the good stuff came out when my kids were too older!!
