I don’t wear a whole lot of makeup… Not that I don’t want to, I just don’t usually have the time to put it on! The last time I bought makeup, was about a year ago.. maybe more. I love to freshen up my look every now and then, and new makeup is always a good thing.

Walmart asked me if I wanted to try something new from Maybelline, and I, of course, said “Yes!”. A box showed up full of goodies that I was so excited to try! FIT me! Foundation in Natural Beige, Concealer in Sand Sable, Pressed Powder in Natural Beige, Blush in Medium Pink, One by One Volume Express Mascara in Very Black, and the newest lip color line, the Super Stay 24 Color. I was sent Timeless Rose, Wear On Wildberry, Everlasting Wine, and Forever Chestnut. I get to tell you a little bit about all of these. Let’s start from the bottom up!

Here’s me before any makeup application… just in from playing in the snow with my girls.

The FIT me! Foundation is very light, and covers pretty well. It goes on smoothly, and doesn’t feel like I’ve put on a bunch of makeup. It blended very well with my skin tone, which really impressed me. According to Maybelline, the FIT me! foundation doesn’t contain any oils or waxes, and is non-comedogenic, which means it doesn’t block your pores. It allows your skin to breathe.

The Concealer covered up some of my dark spots and blemishes, and blended well with my skin and foundation. I wasn’t left with off colored spots where I put the concealer. It worked.. well.

The FIT me! Pressed Powder went on smoothly. It made my skin look very nice over the foundation. It wasn’t too heavy, and I didn’t see flakes of powder on my face, which is something I see with a lot of powders. Thankfully, it wasn’t like that with this one!

The FIT me! Blush was pretty. I don’t usually wear blush, just because of the fact that I don’t really need it. I don’t really have anything to compare it to, and I’m not sure I’m going to wear it regularly, but I tried it, and it was a pretty color.

The One by One Volume Express Mascara was pretty nice. I was sent both the regular and the waterproof versions. I always go for waterproof! The application brush is a soft rubber brush, with a lot of bristles. After taking a few swipes on my lashes with the mascara, I liked it. It did not clump, and my lashes looked longer.

The Super Stay 24 Lip Color was probably the most impressive of all of the items sent to me. I tried on the Everlasting Wine, but it was really really red… The one I’m wearing in the photo is the Forever Chestnut… Totally my favorite! The others are pretty nice too, but I love the natural earth tones, and I think this one works well on me. What do you think?

Over all, I do like this makeup, and I think it’s a great value for what it is. I must say, I forgot to wash my makeup off before bed, and in the morning, my lip color still looked as it did when I put it on. I did not break out the next day like I have with some other brands that I have used.
