Do your kids know that you are supposed to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds??? Did YOU know that?

Washing your hands is the best way to stop germs from spreading. No matter what you do during the day, you will come into contact with germs, and it’s super easy for germs to end up in your mouth. Just think of how many foods you eat with your hands!

Softsoap brand has teamed up with the American Public Health Association (APHA) to create unique “Get Ready” hand washing timers that easily attach directly to Softsoap brand soap pumps. When pressed, the timers play a fun song to help children stay engaged for a full 20 seconds to properly wash away germs. Pair these fun hand washing timers with the Softsoap Foam Works Spongebob and Dora the Explorer Hand Soaps, and children are sure to be excited to spend at least 20 seconds washing their hands!

Softsoap sent us a bottle of their Dora the Explorer foaming hand soap and one of the APHA hand washing timers, and they L-O-V-E them. I think I heard the music play all evening.. Of course, they weren’t washing their hands the whole time, but for it to be a fun thing, and associating it with hand washing is a good thing!
