All for less than $25! Impossible you say??? Not at all..

I’m not one to wear makeup very often.. I usually don’t have the time in the morning to deal with makeup and all that good stuff while getting my girls off to school. Once in a while, I’ll take the time, like if I’m going out for date night, or away on a trip, but other than that, it’s rare for me to be in makeup. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to!

Well, Maybelline sent me a Fashion Week kit this week to try to not only achieve a runway inspired look easily, but also for under $25. In this kit, there were the essential items I needed to get the *Silver Diva* look. The items I had were the Maybelline Volum’ Express Falsies Flared Washable Mascara in Blackest Black ($4.97 Rollback), Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner in Pewter ($4.97 Rollback), Superstay 24 Lip Color in So Pearly Pink ($7.94 EDLP) and Expertwear Eyeshadow Quads in Mocha Motion ($4.97 EDLP). I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but I was willing to give it a shot. I cleared out the bathroom counter and took to it.

How do you think I did???

I liked it.. It was subtle.. not totally over the top. It didn’t take me long, and here I am at 10pm and most of it is still on my face… Not bad considering I put it on at around 9am and it’s been a day of cleaning around the house. I definitely think these colors and similar ones are going to be part of my makeup box from now on, and at a pretty good price too!
