As a Walmart Mom, I get to try out some really cool things for Mommy Brain Reports. Sometimes they work for us, and sometimes they don’t quite fit for us… This blog post is about the new Bounce and Learn Trampolines from Skywalker that are coming to Walmart.
The Bounce and Learn trampolines have several options from small to a little bit larger. We got the biggest of the options, the 88″ Bounce and Learn Trampoline. Our trampoline was fairly easy to put together. I actually did it mostly myself in about an hour or so. We thought it looked pretty small once it was put together and the net was on. Our girls were more than ready to jump in it though, so once I had that net secured, they ran outside to play. Unfortunately, the weight limit was only 100 lbs for our trampoline, and they are just about 50 lbs each. I didn’t want to take a chance, so they had to jump separately. It wasn’t as much fun for them, but they gave it a shot anyway.
My girls were laughing when they found out that the animal faces on the jumping mat actually made sounds when they jumped on them. Of course, now they had to jump to each one to hear them. It was funny seeing how fast they could jump from one animal to the other. The hardest part was keeping them from both getting on the trampoline at the same time. Eventually, they got tired of jumping by themselves, and asked me when they could get a big one that they could play on together. I guess that will be my next big purchase… I think I’ll have to wait till Spring time though…
All in all, the Bounce and Learn Trampoline is pretty cool. It’s small enough that it can be kept indoors if you have a room large enough, and big enough to play with outdoors, but if you have older kids, or kids who love to jump and do flips and tricks, I’d get a full size trampoline!
