Walmart is getting all ready for the Avengers to arrive in theaters!!! Their new page, totally dedicated to the Marvel Avengers Superheros has some really fun things on it, from great deals on Superhero merchandise, to computer wallpapers, and printable masks. There’s also a new mobile app that uses Augmented Reality to guide users through missions and even take photos with your favorite Superheros.
To use the app, go to Walmart’s Avengers Page and choose between the Apple iStore App, or the Android App in the Google Play Store. You can also just scan the QR code on special signage in your local Walmart Store!
The app will take a few minutes to initialize, but it only has to do that the first time you open it.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get this app to work for me. I currently use the htc Evo 4G, and when I installed the app, it was 28.34MB. It would not allow me to move the app to my SD card as I typically do for all downloaded apps. I wanted to give it a try, so I initialized the app, and it ended up being 129MB, and I kept getting the message that my phone was low on space. I tried clearing out the rest of my apps, but I was never able to clear enough space to get the app to run. I had to uninstall it. Hopefully, they’ll run an update that will allow users to move the app to the SD card. If so, I’ll be one of the first to try it out again.
I really wish I could’ve been able to try this app, because the video makes it look like a lot of fun!
