When I went to Bentonville, AR last month, I was actually part of something called the Walmart Steak-Over. I’m sure you’ve seen some of the commercials on TV where they serve unsuspecting restaurant go-ers a Walmart Steak, and they all act surprised that it’s really *that* good. Yeah, I’ve always been quite skeptical about these types of commercials, but then… I was a part of one. Well, sorta.
I knew going into the event that the new Walmart Choice Premium Steaks were going to be served, so it didn’t come as a surprise when they told us that. What did come as a surprise was how juicy and tender that steak was after it was cooked. I almost always order my steaks *Medium*, and I know how a great steak is supposed to be… This steak was actually really good! We’ve since had a few more of these steaks at home, and each time, I am not disappointed with the results. However… If we, or any Walmart customer is ever dissatisfied with their Walmart steak, all you need to do is take the receipt back to your store and let them know! They have a money back guarantee!
Check out this really cool video that they made for me after the event!

Some other goodies that we got to try out were really great were some new products from Marketside!!!
They now have some really awesome veggies and salads in the produce section, including steam in bag asparagus, and an asian salad that is so yummy. My ultimate favorite new item from Marketside has to be the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks though… Oh my goodness. They were so good! They also have several really great items that would be perfect for parties, including Italian Pinwheels, Assorted Fruit Trays, and even an Apple Tray. For dessert, we tried several offerings. They had cheese cake bites, and various cupcakes, all of which were delicious! My favorite has to be the oreo cupcakes though. All of them are currently available in the bakery, and I highly recommend them!
Check out some of the photos below to see all of the yummy things we got to try!
