Back to school shopping can be pretty chaotic at times, but Walmart has just released their new Back to School Closet Creator, designed to help you create outfits using apparel and accessories available at your local Walmart stores and Walmart.com! It’s really easy to use, and it’s actually a lot of fun to see what they have available and put together cute little outfits!

I took some time to browse some of the closets that other people have created for inspiration, and then, I set off to put together some really cute outfits for my girls!

To use the Apparel Mix & Match Tool, I clicked *Create your own Back-to-School Outfits*

On the Let’s Start a Closet Screen, I chose Girls Age 5-12, entered their age, and named the closet *Twins’ Closet*. I set my budget at $250.

From there, I searched around through all the available items and grabbed whatever ones I thought my girls would like and put them in the closet.

Once I have all the clothing, shoes, and accessories that I want in my closet, I started putting together outfits.  It was really easy. Just click the plus sign on the right and the clothes will show up in the window on the left. Here’s one outfit I put together!

As you make outfits, just click the “save” button in the window and your outfits will all show up in your closet below!

 The Apparel Mix & Match tool tells you how many items you have in your closet, and how many outfits you can make from all of them. It’s actually a lot of fun to build these outfits. Now I can print off my shopping list to make shopping for school clothes just a bit easier!
