Tonight, after my hubby and I dropped off our ballots, we headed on over to our Starbucks on Arena & Duckhorn Blvd for our free coffee! We had the girls with us, and thought, it would be a treat for them to have a hot cocoa with us. Victoria chose a chocolate milk, and Alexandra had a kid’s hot chocolate. They were so excited. I found a table to sit at, and got the girls situated.
A couple of minutes went by and I have no idea what she did, but Alexandra managed to drop her hot (not really) cocoa and spill it all over the floor. Daddy and I rushed to soak up as much as possible with our tiny napkin stash, and I went to the counter to ask if they had a mop or a rag available so I could clean up our mess. One of the Baristas, Jake, grabbed a rag, and ran out to clean it up for me. I offered, but he declined. Of course, Alexandra was very upset that she no longer had her hot cocoa… I went up to the counter to order a new one, and bless his heart, the other Barista (I apologize I didn’t get his name) refused to let me buy one… “It’s what we’re here for!” he said to me.. I’ve never heard anyone say that to a customer before. He got it started and Jake had it ready in a minute. Alexandra was soooo happy. Trust me, so was I!
I know they were busy in the store tonight, and I really wanted to express my undying gratitude for helping us out tonight! You guys are truly what good customer service is all about!
I wish I would’ve taken a photo of everyone there or at least gotten their names tonight! You all deserve my thanks!
