Do you love to garden? Are you getting ready for spring? We sure are here at the Mommy Brain household! We just couldn’t wait to get our garden up and running this year, and I was excited for the opportunity to give a couple of new products a try! Amdro Power Flex and Pennington Smart Feed, are both available at your local Walmart store. What are they?
Amdro Power Flex is a new system that takes a lot of the hassle of weed and pest control out of the equation. It’s super easy to use! All you have to do is fill the reusable tank with water, twist a cartridge onto the batter powered sprayer and spray on! Worried about clean up? It is also very easy! Untwist the cartridge, press and hold the trigger for about 10 seconds to flush the line, and store the partially used cartridge on the back of the tank. There’s no need to measure or mix, and much less chance of a mess you’ll have to clean up, limiting your exposure to the chemicals.
Now before you get upset with me for using pesticides, and weed killer… We live in the South.. in Coastal NC. We have some scary bugs! I used this product to protect our screened in porch and to get rid of the weeds that had started growing up through our concrete walk ways. It worked like a charm!
The Pennington Smart Feed is another really neat system for fertilizing your plants! This one works great too! Typically, we have to buy the pellets, and fill up the spreader, walk up and down the yard spreading fertilizer all over the place, and then spend time watering the lawn to make sure it soaks in. The Pennington Smart Feed system is so easy, I actually *want* to fertilize the lawn, and our plants! Similar to the Amdro products, there’s no mixing, measuring, or messy cleanup! All you have to do, in this case, is attache the sprayer to your garden hose, load in a tablet, and spray!! You are watering your plants, and feeding them all at the same time!
These are two products that I’ll be using this Spring/Summer as needed to see if I can keep my yards looking good! We had a slow start because of the cold, but it’s starting really warm up and things are growing!
