We love to grill when the weather is warm, and of course, if you’re grilling, it’s a perfect excuse to have a few friends over! 

When we grill, we usually go all out. We make all kinds of food. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Beef, Pork. You name it.. we’ve probably grilled it.

On my last trip to Walmart Home Office, we had the chance to talk all about Summer Entertaining, and see some of the really cool products that are coming out to make Summer Parties fun, festive, and affordable! I was particularly drawn to the tableware that was coming out from Better Homes and Gardens. They have such beautiful colors coming out, and the designs are so pretty! The thing that I absolutely love about them is that they look so expensive, but they’re really not! I originally thought that they were ceramic, and was trying to be super delicate when I picked them up, but when I picked it up and saw how light it was, I was surprised to find out that they are melamine. This makes them super cool for outdoor use because if they fall, they will not shatter! Look for them in your local Walmart store!

What Summer Party would be complete without some yummy food? There are lots of great ideas for some delicious Summer Grilled Foods. Kabobs, Salads, etc are all easy to make and are big hits at Summer Parties! If you are concerned about smaller items, i.e. Shrimp, Scallops, etc, you can always put it on skewers, or you can cook them in foil, or cast iron skillets. I had no idea you could use the cast iron cookware in the BBQ grill! It’s pretty awesome!

Of course, you’ll need something for everyone to snack on while the main dishes are cooking.
