This DIY project was so much fun to make. I took a chance on making a wreath that I had no idea how it would turn out. I actually had a great conversation with the Walmart Associate that helped me out in the craft section on the day I bought the supplies for this wreath. We talked all about the different crafts we have seen lately with burlap, and she made me promise to come back and show her pics of my completed project… I haven’t seen her back in the store since I’ve finished it, but I am keeping an eye out for her! Well, I need to show it all to you now too! So, without further delay… Here is my easy Burlap Wreath!
Supplies:
Styrofoam Wreath Form
2 yards Burlap (your choice of color)
Ribbon of your choice
Fall Decor Picks
Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
How to make it:
1. Cut your burlap into squares, approximately 4″ in size. This Wreath take imperfections well, so they don’t have to be exactly measured, just close enough!
2. Wrap your ribbon around the wreath to indicate your starting point, and secure with hot glue.
3. Bunch up your burlap and apply a dot of hot glue to the center of the square. Place the square on the wreath form, holding for a few seconds while the glue cools down.
4. Continue step 3 until your wreath is as full as you’d like it!
5. Once you’ve filled your wreath, make a bow out of your ribbon, and tie it around your starting point.
6. Tuck in some Fall Picks behind the bow, and that’s it! You can change your ribbon, and picks to match whatever season it is!
If you try to make this wreath, I’d love to see how you do it! Please feel free to share links to your photos in the comments!
